Product Description
Similar to a plano-convex lens, a biconvex lens has a positive focal length and can focus parallel beams. Because the front and back surfaces of the lenticular lens are convex spherical surfaces with the same radius of curvature, the lenticular lens can obviously reduce spherical aberration and improve coma and distortion in applications where the object-image distance is equal or approximately equal. When the conjugate ratio is between 5:1 and 1:5, the aberration introduced by the lenticular lens is the smallest.
