2. Do not disassemble each part by yourself; Insert the eyepiece or eyepiece cover to avoid dust from the upper part of the lens; Do not touch or wipe the lens surface with your fingers. If there is dust, brush the lens surface gently with a soft brush and then wipe it with a soft clean cloth. You can also wipe the lens surface with mirror paper dipped in xylene or petroleum ether. If the lens has mildew slightly, when the paper is wiped not to go down, usable cotton swab dips in a little 70% alcohol and 30% ethyl ether mixture to wipe gently.
3. The biological microscope shall not be put together with corrosive acids, alkalis, or volatile chemicals to avoid corrosion and shorten its service life. In principle, when observing a specimen containing liquid, it is generally necessary to cover it with a cover glass. If the liquid contains corrosive chemicals such as acids and alkalis, seal the sides of the cover glass with paraffin or vaseline and observe. However, because of the microscopic identification of Traditional Chinese medicine, often use this kind of reagent, it is impossible to seal, so we must be very careful to prevent the liquid flow to the platform, not to touch the objective lens.
4. The biological microscope should not be exposed to direct sunlight, nor should it be placed near the stove or central heating, in order to avoid excessive changes in heat and cold that may cause degluing, deformation or damage of the lens and parts.
5. Clean the contact lens only on the external surface. After the contact surface is contaminated with the drug, wipe it with mirror swab paper with a little lens lotion (do not use ethanol); If the back needs to be cleaned, it can be brushed with a soft brush or suction with the skin to dust.
6. Turn the coarse focus than fine focus to slow, do not crush the cover piece.
7. After using the oil lens, wipe the cedar on the lens clean (you can wipe the lens with mirror wiping paper dipped in xylene, but note that xylene cannot penetrate into the lens interior, otherwise xylene will dissolve the adhesive between the lenses and the lens will fall off).
8. The mirror surface of the reflector shall be protected and cleaned, and water, xylene, or cedar oil shall not be allowed to penetrate, so as to prevent the mercury of the reflector from falling off.
9. If the mechanical parts are not flexible, dip a little of the fine silk cloth in xylene: wipe off the rust and grease (do not use ethanol, as these solvents will erode the paint), and lubricate with a little liquid paraffin; Don't twist too tightly to avoid damage.
10. Sometimes it is found that there are stains or foreign matters in the field of vision of the biological microscope, the eyepiece can be rotated first. If these stains rotate with each other, it can be determined that the stains are on the eyepiece; otherwise, the specimen piece can be moved. If the stains move with each other, the stains are on the specimen piece. If both are not, the stain is on the objective lens. Check the front lens of the objective lens first, and then the rear lens. Clean according to different conditions.
Sometimes part of the field of vision is not clear, which may be due to fingerprints or dust on the front lens surface of the objective lens or eyepiece, bad specimen preparation or improper microscope usage, such as the lighting system is not properly adjusted, etc., the situation should be ascertained and solved separately.
11. After the biomicroscope is used, each part shall be wiped clean, and then the objective lens shall be turned into a figure of eight, then the lens barrel and the light collector shall be lowered and fixed, and then the mirror surface of the reflector shall be placed vertically.
